ProGold proLink contains no solids like wax, teflon, moly or plastics which means it can not build up or become tacky(attract dirt) . This also means it works as a wet AND a dry lube.
ProLink and ProGold products use MFR(Metal Friction Reducer) technology.This formula is actually a metal treatment which creates a "sacrificial surface" on the working surfaces of the chain(between the roller and the pin), because it's molecules literally bond with the metal. This "surface" is not a coating like most lubes that contains solids, but rather a molecular bonding which ACTS like a coating.
